AHHHH, what a perfect weekend Ryan & Megan shared with friends and family. I feel so honored to have photographed their special day in beautiful Cloudcroft, NM! Their wedding was a perfect blend of vintage, and modern, rustic and glamorous. I loved their details that made their wedding unique to them. 

Some of the beautiful, unique things they chose were: the groomsmen forwent their jackets for vests. The bridesmaids all were able to choose their own dresses within the bride’s color scheme.  Several of the bridesmaids chose dresses from BHLDN, an online store, and a one stop shop for all things bridal and event with designers from Monique Lhuillier and Badgley Mischka to relatively unknown designers. The bridesmaids put their bouquets together the night before, in a bouquet party. It was a special touch, and each girl was in love with her own, personally made bouquet.

Hair was done by Taylor DeGroot, and makeup was applied by Belynn Burrell. Both did an amazing job. The entire wedding party was radiant and looked stunning.

The reception was a blast with a live band, and a pie bar instead of a traditional wedding cake. Yummy!

Seasons, one of our lead photographers was in the bridal party. She grew up with the bride, and recommended that she book us for the wedding. The bride loved our style, and was happy to book us.

On the way out of town we stopped at Mad Jack’s Mountaintop BBQ, a central Texas style BBQ joint. They opened at 11:00 am, and by 2:00pm were completely sold out. The food is out of this world. I highly recommend it, although I don’t think they’ll stay a secret for long.
