Albuquerque Wedding Photographer | Angel Fire Wedding

Nestled atop the picturesque Sangre De Cristo Mountains in Northern New Mexico, sits the Angel Fire Resort, a gorgeous location for weddings. In May, we shot a wedding there, and enjoyed not only the event itself, but the beautiful location as well. I am always happy to travel for a wedding! The ceremony was held at the resort’s Observation Deck, a great deck overlooking the mountain range and valley below. Even-though the wind blew, the ceremony went off without a hitch! Afterwards the bridal party headed down to the lake for pictures. Both locations offered something different in the way of views, and yielded gorgeous pictures. My second photographer was our associate lead photographer Seasons Sharp. She and I have shot several times together and I love her work. Thank you Seasons!

The reception was held in the Garden Court Room of the resort. It was beautifully decorated in various shades of purple, white and grey. The candy bar was a sweet touch. Enchanted Florist out of Taos NM outdid themselves on the flowers. The brides bouquet was an array of lavender and white roses, purple tulips, ferns and other purple and white flowers. Just stunning! A photo booth with the hit of the night. Such a fun idea!

I really appreciated the itinerary that the bride provided us with. It was helpful as a tool for me to know what was going on, when and where! Here are a few things to keep in mind when you’re preparing the itinerary for your photographer, and a few shots that are most common:
