Albuquerque Newborn Photographer

Newborn sessions are among my favorite type of session. I like to capture them 7 to 10 days after birth. There are few things in this crazy world as calming and satisfying as cuddling brand new life. Everything surrounding a newborn is so pure, natural and real.

New baby Q came in with his mom, dad and big brother G. Big brother had his newborn photos done here also. I love getting to see how much these little ones have grown!

I also did mom’s maternity photoshoot. Baby Q was awake the entire time, and had very bright eyes. Big brother doted on him, and loved giving kisses and hugs.

The tiny lashes, wispy hair, pouty lips, flaky skin, wrinkled fingers and paper thin nails. I loved capturing newborn baby Q’s peach fuzz, and hair. Baby Q has lots of dark hair for a newborn. I captured shots of the family all together, and a few of just big brother. The individual shots of the older siblings make it truly a family session.

Baby Q looked tiny in dad’s hands. What a sweet memory that will be in the years to come. I also caught just mama and baby together. Sweet mama love is the best.
