Last weekend Dylan and I went down to Socorro for the Socorro Valley 100. This is a race that is part of the 2018 Gasit Off-Road Championship series. The race was held at Gordy’s Hill OHV Area. Co-hosts for the event were R&S racing and Gasit.

Like always, there were events for the entire family. Halloween T-shirts were for sale, and pumpkin carving contests took place. The riders could enter a hill climb at $20 per rider. Whichever rider took first place would win half of the pot. As it was, Travis Porter won. Congrats Travis!

Even though cows ate the markers, (Yikes!) a great time was had by all. This being the last race of the year, I want to say how proud of Dylan (and all of the riders) I am. Great year everyone! See you all in 2019!
