Albuquerque Event Photographer | FemCity Albuquerque January Lunch

FemCity Albuquerque is a local branch of an international group that works to support and connect the women of Albuquerque. I connected with them through Facebook, and have enjoyed getting to know a wide variety of professional women here in our city. They take members who are in the corporate world, self-starting entrepreneurs and nonprofit.

Each meeting is held at the new Albuquerque restaurant, Seasons 52 for a ‘lunch and learn’ get together. (Not to be mistaken with our locally owned, Seasons.) Seasons 52 is a national chain, but they have striven to keep it small, only 52 locations. Their menu is fresh and seasonally changes. I loved the sparkling raspberry lemonade, and the dessert slider tray.

During the get together, we were able to introduce ourselves to each other and tell a little bit about our businesses. There are members who are authors, healers, dietitians, life coaches, event coordinators, and more! Such variety leads to a great discussion and a great group.

The meeting last week was the first of 2019. A few new faces joined the group, and we all enjoyed getting to know them better. A fun activity that we did was writing down our intentions for the new year. It was great to hear everyone share what they learned last year, and what they hope for the new one!
