Albuquerque Commercial Photographer | Rising Tide Spur Line

Earlier this month I met with a group called The Rising Tide Society. They meet once a month, on the second Tuesday of the month. Rising Tide is a group with over 74,000 members across the country. They focus on educating and uplifting business individuals to succeed by encouraging and empowering each other.  I met people in marketing, publication, real estate, photography, and music. Such an eclectic group, and a great concept for a community group!

We met at  Spur Line Co. here in Albuquerque New Mexico. Spur Line is a lifestyle shop located in the Sawmill District, and is actively involved in revitalizing that part of our city. This store is unlike any other here. It is  a collection of edited vignettes, strategically placed throughout. It has the feel of an approachable art gallery where they want you to touch the artwork.  Everything is for sale from furniture, vintage clothing and southwestern jewelry, to donuts, records, and succulents. There is a record shop, stationery shop, apothecary, and floral shop with an outdoor living concept. When you go, make sure to check out the vintage Airstream trailer inside!

Another unique feature of Spur Line is that they offer different classes and workshops. A few that they have had in the past include :

Desert Botanical Perfume Workshop

I really enjoyed the setting and the people whom I had the opportunity to meet. I look forward to our next meeting.
