Albuquerque Children Photographer Los Lunas Wedding

Last weekend I attended a wedding in the Village of Los Lunas, New Mexico. It’s a quick 10 minute drive south of Albuquerque, but has a totally different feel. Los Lunas has a great small town atmosphere with lots of parks, open space, and historical markers.

The wedding was at a friend’s ranch, Flying Halo Farm, and while I was not the photographer, I enjoyed capturing a few candid shots. Flying Halo is a full service equine ranch. They offer boarding, training, and… Weddings! Such a great idea for a wedding venue.

Jax is an outgoing 3 year old. He loved mugging for the camera in the fading afternoon light.

As he climbed up on the fence I couldn’t resist the opportunity to capture the moment. His playful spirit came through as he posed for me. I use ‘posed’ lightly, as it was all him!

Lifestyle photography is one of our specialties. The purpose is to capture people in an artistic manner, doing what they do every day! We love the candid realness of these photos.

Family sessions take place in the evenings, typically 1 1/2 hours before sunset, to capture that yummy backlit glow that we love.
