Albuquerque Engagement Photographer | Edgewood Couple Photos
Last weekend I shot an engagement shoot for a fun couple at their property in Edgewood New Mexico. They are getting married there, in a small intimate ceremony , at their property in late July. I loved incorporating their land, and things that were personal to them, into their photos. In one shot I put her ring on his cowboy hat. Little things like that are what make a shoot individualized to that couple, and something that they will treasure.
The couple and I talked about planning for the big day. They were curious about choosing a time for the ceremony and reception to take place. This is a question that I get asked frequently. If you were to ask a photographer what our ideal lighting situation would be, we would recommend 1 1/2 hours prior to sunset. Early evening is always best, lighting wise. Find out when the sun is expected to set, and put the ceremony two hours prior. That way, by the time the ceremony is over, and you start taking pictures of the wedding party the sun is at that perfect point in the sky. The ceremony will also look pretty great too!
I am excited to see this sweet couple again, later on this summer for their wedding.
