Here at Tyler Brooke Photography we are a TEAM of strong, creative women, all working together to capture life’s amazing moments for you! When you hire Tyler Brooke Photography, you are not getting just one photographer, you are hiring a team of professionals. Tyler Brooke consist of Kate, the Owner/Main Photographer, Rachel and Seasons, Associate Lead Photographers, Christy, Makeup & Hair, and Emily, our Studio Manager.

You might be wondering "Who will I have as a photographer on my wedding day?" Well, depending on our schedules, sometimes you will have Kate photographing your big day, or one of our talented lead photographers, Seasons or Rachel. Whether it's Kate, Seasons or Rachel, they will always have another second professional photographer working with them for your special day. (Our second shooters are always vetted professional photographers.) So what's the difference when you hire a lead associate photographer versus the owner of the business? The difference is just that a different person is taking the picture. Most often, you will be able to meet your lead photographer prior to hiring us, or during your engagement session.

Like Kate, both Rachel and Seasons are seasoned professionals in the industry. Kate stands behind their work and photography style, as if it were shot by herself. Tyler Brooke showcases a mixed batch of photos and edits throughout our wedding portfolio from all three women. Both Seasons and Rachel have a very similar shooting style and eye to Kate, and in keeping with our signature, natural editing style, we've made it a point that you cannot tell who shot and/or edited what from your big day!

Whether it's your wedding day, or you've booked us for maternity or newborn photos, we know how important it is to look and feel your best! So we have teamed up with Christy Johnson, of C. Johnson Makeup to ensure you do! Christy brings years of experience and a sweet spirit to the Tyler Brooke team. Her hair and makeup application are one of the best in the city!

And last but not least, we know how important it is to have a good experience, not only with loving your photos, but with communication from Tyler Brooke, which is why sometimes you'll find yourself communicating and working with our Studio Manager, Emily. Emily helps behind the scenes, running the website, writing blogs, responding to emails and managing the workflow. Emily also assists Kate in-studio with petite and newborn shoots, as well as lending a hand with toddlers and older siblings. Emily fits the Tyler Brooke brand with her love of photography, nature, children and weddings.

MEET KATE, Owner & Main Photographer

Kate lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico and spends her days raising two beautiful little women and doing life with her guy, Dylan. She works in her natural light photography studio located in Albuquerque for newborn, baby and maternity sessions and enjoys photographing family portrait sessions on-location during the warmer months. You may wonder where the name 'Tyler Brooke' originated from, as it might be confusing to receive an email response from Kate. Tyler Brooke is the girls middle names, Ava Brooke & Lauren Tyler. Currently, we've been enjoying watching the girls play tee-ball with Rio Rancho's i9 Sports League (our first year). Lauren has one heck of a canon, and Ava, the bravery to catch them! Dylan races two professional desert series (which Kate loves to capture); GasIt Off Road & WeBe Racing - March thru October.

MEET EMILY, Studio Manager

Emily Melville is our NEW Studio Manager, and Assistant. A Colorado native, but raised and educated in Albuquerque; she attended the University of New Mexico where she studied political science and musical theatre. She’ll be the one behind the scenes, running the website, writing blogs, and managing the workflow. She'll also be helping in-studio with petite and newborn shoots, as well as lending a hand with toddlers and older siblings. Emily fits the Tyler Brooke brand with her love of photography, nature, children and weddings.

We are so excited to have Emily on-board and are sure that she will be a wonderful addition to our team!

When she’s not working: Emily loves reading, trail running, farming, and performing; and she, along with her husband, is currently building a tiny house. Emily lives in the south valley on a family farm and is also the event planner for her family run business, El Nido Farm.

MEET SEASONS, Associate Lead Photographer

Hey guys! I'm a mama to two beautiful babies and a wife to the hardest working man I know.  We live on a working cattle ranch in New Mexico. It's literally in the middle of nowhere! If you could throw a dart in the middle of the state map, that's where we are! Our closest neighbors are about 7 miles from us. It's a 45 minutes drive to the closest fast food and another 15 minutes to the grocery store. My grocery trips are not small!

I shoot team ropings for the World Series of Team Roping but my true passion is weddings. I love LOVE. Weddings days are so emotional and they take me back to my wedding day which was the happiest day of my life (before Lucy and Jasper came along). Still, my wedding day was a fairytale and I wouldn't have my two cute little ones if it wasn't for that love filled day. My husband cried as I walked down the aisle and made me shed a few tears myself. I like to capture the raw moments of the wedding day. I want you to look back and feel the same emotions you were feeling that day!

I LOVE:A clean house, Dr Pepper, A medium rare ribeye-- honestly I just love the spinalis which is the outside rim. My husband hates that part so it works out great!, I don't eat seafood of any kind. YUCK. Don't tell me it doesn't taste fishy because IT DOES!

MEET RACHEL, Associate Lead Photographer

My name is Rachel Standifird. I have had a passion for photography since I was a little girl. I began my photography career photographing friends and family. I got my start in wedding photography in 2010 subcontracting with a studio here in Albuquerque and have been photographing couples on their special day ever since. I love the energy of wedding photography and capturing the uniquely candid moments between couples, families, and friends on a wedding day. My husband and I are avid travelers and rock climbers. I take any chance I get to see new places and meet new people. I also have my Bachelors in Elementary Education and work part time teaching elementary school. I love working with children as well as adults. Nothing brings me more joy then preserving the happy memories in others lives through photography.

Your service always includes false lashes, airbrush foundation, a detailed getting ready schedule, & travel on the wedding day.
