Albuquerque Wedding Photographer | Sandia Casino Ballroom

LaNae and Josh were united in marriage last weekend at Sandia Resort and Casino.  LaNae and Josh were married outside and held their reception in the Eagle Room, a perfectly intimate room. The ceremony was a close, personal event, with LaNae’s father giving her away, in a lovely suit and cowboy hat. Officiating the ceremony was Paul Martinez of De Novo Pastoral Services. Both the bride and groom had 4 attendants on each side, with Josh’s dad as his best ban. The sunflower bouquets were set off nicely with a deep rich red, which the bridesmaids all wore. Along with the lovely outdoor setting, the pergola was a great background for the ceremony and pictures afterwards.

LaNae’s hair and makeup were done by Monique and Marilyn Grijalva, of M.M. Glam. ABQ. As well as doing an impressive intricate bridal updo, complete with pearl and beaded accents running throughout,  Monique and Marilyn applied a simple soft makeup that really brought out the bride’s natural beauty. The bridesmaids and bride all got ready in the bridal suite.

Sandia has several ballroom options for your wedding, and can accommodate lots of types and styles of wedding. They even have a brand new event center that is located right next to their Green Reed Spa. From the wedding coordinator to staff, everyone was wonderful to work with. Not only did she keep everything moving along, on schedule, she was there to iron out any details that needed addressing.

In the ballroom, a delicious dinner of prime rib and steak fillets was served. ABC Cakes once again delivered a beautiful and tasty wedding cake. Wrapping up the night, the DJ (Gilbert Wickens), got things going and started the dancing. We loved the father/daughter and mother/groom dances.  A photo booth in the corner was another great way of entertaining their guests. Overall, a fun, and beautiful wedding was had, and the guests left feeling wonderful.
