FAQ’S
When can I book?
2019 booking open to the public August 21st
How long is each session?
Sessions are up to 5 minutes long.
How many children can I bring to my session?
You may bring up to 3 siblings (NO COUSINS OR FRIENDS, NO EXCEPTIONS). If you four or more children, we request that you book two back-to-back sessions.
Why should I book a session with you, and not take my children to a mall Santa?
There are so many perks to booking a Santa session with us. You get your own 5 minute session, alone with Santa. He reads your children a book, and discusses with them their personal wish lists. There are no long lines to wait in, your time slot is reserved for you. There is no mall traffic, and no full parking lots to navigate. We also have Mrs. Claus, a wonderful bonus!
Will the setup be the same?
In order to keep it fresh, we’ll have a new set this year, but keep our same light and airy style.
How many images will I receive?
A minimum of 15 high resolution images are included with your purchase.
When will I receive my images?
2 weeks after your session you will receive an online gallery with all your images.
When should I book my time slot?
In order for your child(ren) to receive their customizable wish list in time, we recommend that you book your preferred time slot no later than one week prior to the session. We sold out last year, so don’t delay!
When will I receive the fillable wish list?
Even if you secure a date in September, we mail out wish lists two weeks prior to the session. This keeps the wish lists from getting lost or forgotten. If you need a new one, swing by the studio and pick one up for $5.
If the sessions sell out, will you open up another day?
Unfortunately, we only have the one weekend. Santa is in high demand this time of year. I’m not saying that there is no way we will open up more time slots, and I’m not saying that we will. It is best to book your session early.
What happens if my child cries when they see Santa?
Santa cries too and it makes for quite the ‘right of passage’ childhood memory! But really, I strive to capture them authentically based off their interaction with Santa, regardless of whether or not your child cries. It is not realistic to expect that all kids will be smiling. I think that that is one of the things that makes these sessions so special, your child’s authentic reaction to seeing Santa. We also will not force your child to sit one santa’s lap, if they are timid or shy that’s ok!
Can parents hop in for pictures?
No, this is just for your child(ren). Our setup and studio doesn’t allow for us to capture family’s. These sessions are shorter, so we don’t want to take away any of your child’s special time with Santa. But what an incredibly special time for your child to be able to share their wish list and have their one on one special time with Santa.
What should my kids wear?
Below I have several links for online clothing suggestions. If your children are under 6 months old I recommend a zip-up onesie. Holiday themed is great! If your children are older than 6 months, we ask that you please dress them in winter or holiday attire. Pajamas and neutral clothing choices are highly recommended.

My child is nervous about meeting Santa. What should I do?
I’ve found that it’s helpful to take your kids to the mall prior to coming to your session with us. Start talking to your kids early about Santa, who he is, what he represents, then take you little ones to the mall. Have your kids wave at Santa, and remind them that they will get a special one-on-one meeting with him soon. Sit down and help them fill out their wish list (arriving two weeks prior to your session)…make sure they know they’re going to be able to give it to Santa! This will hopefully build up the excitement!
