Baby H is a perfect combination of her parents, Abby and Emmons. Her daddy’s strawberry blonde hair. Her mama’s beautiful eyes. And she has the combined peaceful and loving presence of both her parents. I loved meeting this sweet couple last fall for their maternity session, and I was thrilled to have them back in the studio for Baby H’s newborn session. Abby left the styling of Baby H’s newborn session to me and arrived to the studio with only little miss new in hand. I know every new mom takes to Pinterest for photo inspiration, and is often influenced by the “prop newborn photograph” but it is such a compliment when clients put their full trust in styling their session. Abby didn’t hesitate to choose one of the dresses from my studio wardrobe. She was so excited that I have a selection on hand, and that she did not have to worry about what to wear.

Baby H spent some of her session awake but so calm. I love it when newborns have some quiet awake time during a session because the resulting images can be pure perfection. Baby H’s eye contact and control in the images takes hold of you and draws you in. The entire gallery is filled with love and tender moments. Exactly how I hope my newborn galleries will turn out.

I loved receiving Abby’s email and her reaction to viewing their prints says it all, “OMG! I am blown away at how stunning these are – seriously exactly what we wanted and I couldn’t be happier.” Thank you Abby and Emmons, for your kind words and for bringing your new love to the studio for me to meet.
