Albuquerque Family Photographer | Bosque Fall Family Portrait Session

I love Fall Family Sessions. Albuquerque in the Bosque is the a truly magical time. The light is golden, the air is warm, and the trees are showing us how liberating it can be to let things go.

We’ve seen this family before, but it’s been about 2 years. It’s delightful to see families over the years. And, man, how these boys have grown! Their oldest son is soon off to college.

When we photograph families, we try to get a variety of groupings. The parents together, each parent alone with the kids, the kids by themselves… All examples of groupings that we like. The color pallet this family chose was heavenly. The dark merlot with brown leather and jeans was so pretty. And, we love mom in  dress! Also, we follow the mom, April, on social media. Its a great way to get to know our clients better.

September is the perfect time for a family session. The light is gorgeous, the trees are starting to turn, but the temperature is still warm. If we wait until October, there is no telling what the weather will do.

This family was a dream to capture. I can’t wait to see what life has in store for them!
