Albuquerque Event Photographer | Go Red for Women
In October I attended the event, Go Red for Women. This was a kickoff evening before their big event, a luncheon in February. The event was held at Tablao Flamenco in Hotel Albuquerque, and was complete with flamenco dancers, tasty tapas, and sweet sangria. Being a kickoff event, VIPs, sponsors, and heart heroes were invited to mingle and even start giving donations. I am donating my photography services for not only the kickoff event, but also for their big luncheon event in February.
“The Go Red for Women luncheon continues to serve as the cornerstone event of the Go Red For Women movement in Albuquerque. This empowering event focuses on preventing heart disease and stroke by promoting healthy lifestyles, building awareness and raising critically-needed funds to support research and education initiatives. Cardiovascular diseases, which include stroke, claim the life of a woman about every 80 seconds. We hope you will join us on our mission because about 80 percent of cardiovascular diseases may be prevented.”- Online Go Red Website
This year, Go Red for Women is being held in memory of Jennifer Riordan, who died tragically last year. Jennifer was a pivotal part of Go Red, and is missed dearly. Her mother was in attendance, and will be acting on her behalf. Serena Pettes and Melanie Burns are the co event chairs of the event.
The luncheon will be held February 20th, at the Hotel Albuquerque. We are looking forward to donating our time and services. If you’d like to register for the luncheon, click here.
