Albuquerque Event Photographer | FemCity Seasons 52

Last Friday Emily (our Studio Manager), and I met with a group, that I am a member of, FemCity Albuquerque. FemCity Albuquerque is a local branch of an international group that works to support and connect the women of Albuquerque. I connected with them through Facebook, and have enjoyed getting to know a wide variety of professional women here in our city. They take members who are in the corporate world, self-starting entrepreneurs and nonprofit.

Each meeting is held at the new Albuquerque restaurant, Seasons 52 for a ‘lunch and learn’ get together. (Not to be mistaken with our locally owned, Seasons.) Seasons 52 is a national chain, but they have striven to keep it small, only 52 locations. Their menu is fresh and seasonally changes. I loved the sparkling raspberry lemonade, and the dessert slider tray. The server brings out 100 calorie servings of desert, in shooter glasses. It’s an inventive way of serving a guilt-free dessert. During the get together, we were able to introduce ourselves to each other and tell a little bit about our businesses. There are members who are authors, healers, dietitians, life coaches, event coordinators, and more! Such variety leads to a great discussion and a great group.

Several of the members have reached out to me to take pictures of their different events. I have done portraits of one of the member’s granddaughter, and professional headshots for another member. I also had the great pleasure of shooting Jessica’s (the current president) wedding at Hotel Andaluz.

Albuquerque is a growing, thriving city, and I am so proud to be a part of that growth. I am loving my community, networking groups.

One of our members is in charge of the Dîner en Blanc. If you have never heard of it, it’s a night you won’t soon forget!
