I love getting to know my clients over the years. This family has been coming to me for two years now, and I have loved every moment of getting to know them. I first photographed big brother J’s first year portraits. And then the family welcomed sweet Baby A. I photographed Baby A as a newborn. She was born 5 weeks early, and was only 5 pounds at her newborn session. She was so tiny and delicate, and just gorgeous. As a bright eyed 6 month old, I captured Baby A’s first time meeting Santa Claus! Most recently, Baby A came into the studio to see me to celebrate her first birthday!

It is always amazing to see the changes in a baby from newborn to 1 year. The changes are unlike any other changes that occur in life. To go from a tiny 5 pound newborn, to an energetic 1 year old is truly amazing. I love watching my Baby Plan babies grow over the first year, hitting their milestones, and growing into little people.

It is also sad, at the end of the first year, because I know that there isn’t a scheduled session in the near future. Baby A’s first year session was particularly bittersweet because this sweet family is moving this summer! I am so excited for them to start their next adventure, and forever grateful for getting to know them over the last couple of years! Happy Birthday Baby A, you are the sweetest!
